BREAKING:Reza Pahlavi Declares Iran’s Leadership Weakening, Urges End to Islamic Republic.
Reza Pahlavi has intensified his criticism of Iran’s ruling establishment, describing the Islamic Republic as a “wounded beast” and arguing that the current moment presents a rare opportunity for decisive political change.
Speaking during Politico’s Security Summit, the exiled prince said the government in Tehran has become increasingly weakened under mounting internal and external pressures.
Pahlavi urged opponents of the regime not to allow what he described as a historic opportunity to pass.
“Now that we have a wounded beast, it’s not an opportunity that we should let go.
It’s an opportunity to finish the job and get it over with,” he stated during the event.
Pahlavi further claimed that millions of Iranians, along with several countries across the region, now believe meaningful engagement with the current leadership in Tehran is no longer possible.
His remarks reflect growing tensions surrounding Iran’s political future amid ongoing diplomatic disputes, economic challenges, and regional instability.
As the son of the late Shah of Iran, Pahlavi has remained a prominent opposition figure living in exile since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Over the years, he has repeatedly called for democratic reforms and an end to clerical rule, positioning himself as a voice for sections of the Iranian opposition abroad.
His latest comments come at a time of heightened geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East, with increasing international scrutiny on Tehran’s policies and growing debate over how the international community should respond to the country’s leadership.
Supporters of Pahlavi view his statements as a reflection of frustration among Iranians seeking political transformation, while critics argue that calls for regime change risk deepening instability in an already volatile region.
The remarks are expected to further fuel international discussion over Iran’s future, as diplomatic tensions and security concerns continue to dominate global attention.
