Świątek rok 2024 rozpoczęła turniejem United Cup. Reprezentacja Polski doszła w nim aż do finału, a sama Iga wygrała wszystkie ze swoich pięciu spotkań singlowych, tracąc w nich łącznie zaledwie seta. Do triumfu zabrakło niewiele. Na koniec biało-czerwoni musieli jednak uznać wyższość Niemców.
Natychmiast stamtąd Świątek udała się na Australian Open. W turnieju wielkoszlemowym poradziła sobie słabiej niż można było oczekiwać. Odpadła już w trzeciej rundzie, przegrywając z Lindą Noskovą 6:3, 3:6, 4:6.
