Justin Bieber mourns Liam Payne’s death in emotional social media post

Liam Payne fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Argentina last week.
Justin Bieber is mourning the death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, who tragically died after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the “Sorry” singer posted a clip of several fans lighting candles and placing flowers for Payne. In the caption, he added, “Rest easy.”

Payne’s former bandmates Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson along with his fans have been penning heartfelt notes for Payne on social media ever since the news of his death broke.

Recently, his ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer shared an emotional message on Instagram, revealing the last text she received from the late singer before his tragic death. Peazer reflected on their time together and shared a sweet message from Payne, where he expressed happiness for the love she had found with her partner Sonny Jay and their daughter Mia. She wrote, “Receiving a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness for the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I’ll cherish forever.”

“His most important role and something he was the most proud of out of all of his monumental successes was that he was a father,” she added. “The thought that there is now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair,” she continued. “To Liam’s son Bear, as well as his parents and sisters, my love, thoughts and strength goes to you. The magnitude of this loss is incomprehensible and I will continue to support you in any way I am able to.”

ABC News and TMZ recently reported that a cocktail of drugs called “pink cocaine” — containing methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA — had been found during a partial autopsy, citing anonymous sources familiar with the preliminary tests.

The prosecutor’s office said substances that appeared to be “narcotics and alcoholic beverages” had been found in the room, amidst pieces of broken furniture and other objects.
