Well, Mahomes isn’t just someone who amazes his teammates with plays on the gridiron. He has decided to splash cash worth $100K for those who protect him from unnecessary sacks and QB hits. Some might say his O-line hasn’t really done their work well this season. As Mahomes has already been sacked a career-high 35 times with still a few games left. But this didn’t prevent the Chiefs QB from going ahead and spreading some love to his O-line.

Now, here’s the deal. Mahomes didn’t just buy gifts. He simply left his teammates awestruck by some of those items. As shared by the Chiefs’ official X handle, some of those lavish gifts were Rolex, Normatec recovery boots, Lucchese Boots, Oakleys and Yeti Cooler. Here’s a small breakdown of the cash that Mahomes has probably spent on each of those items. Although it’s not really clear what model of Rolex Mahomes has gifted to his O-line.

As per the Rolex official website, each of those watches could be around $5,500. Talk about generosity. But that expensive list of gifts was just getting started. Next up, there were Normatec recovery boots that might cost around $900 for each one of them. Then there were Oakleys, whose value is a little hard to predict. But moving on, as you might have already seen, there was a pair of Lucchese Boots. And guess what? Each of those pairs is likely to be around $900.

You could be wondering if that’s the end of Mahomes Santa bag. Well, he wasn’t finished there, as the Chiefs QB gifted a pair of Louis Vuitton suitcases to two of his favorite linemen. Now, it’s up to you to figure out who those two could be, as Mahomes has certainly won the hearts of his O-line. Maybe they could now step up and protect Patrick Mahomes as he tries to shake off a mild ankle sprain. Besides the three-time Super Bowl Champion, there are a few NFL QBs who have followed in the footsteps of Mahomes to impress their O-line.

Patrick Mahomes isn’t the only NFL QB filling his team’s locker room with luxurious gifts. Fellow QBs like Joe Burrow and Brock Purdy have done the same for their O-line. Before diving into Purdy’s gifts, going through Burrow’s might blow your mind. As per The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr., Burrow has gone above and beyond to express his gratitude to the Bengals O-line, “Epic gift alert: Joe Burrow gifted his offensive linemen authentic Japanese Katana swords.”

Well, Burrow also adopted a unique way of presenting those ancient swords, “They are all unique. Each sword comes with it’s own story, from certain towns or battles. He put them all in a room and had them pick theirs out.” Now, the Bengals left tackle Orlando Brown was thoroughly impressed with the way Burrow has presented those swords, “Joe does a great job at buying gifts that are extremely meaningful. The fact that he bought me a sword, it’s the most ancient form of respect.

This trend of Christmas gifts wasn’t just limited to Kansas City and Cincinnati. The lavish air also made its way across the Bay Area through their QB, Brock Purdy. He gifted each one of those O-line players with Toyota Sequoias or Tundras. Well, the former Mr. Irrelevant had each of them parked for his teammates to pick as per their preference. Now, hearing their price might make you wonder how Purdy managed to pull it off based on his current contract. The total amount he spent on all of those gifts was around $511,325.

But his salary with the 49ers is just $934,252 this year. So Purdy has spent almost half of his money to make his O-line happy, which earns a combined total of $37,651,852. However, looking away from the financials surrounding those gifts by NFL QBs. They do know how to make their O-line happy because, without them, QBs wouldn’t even manage to throw one pass without getting sacked.
