Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently opened up about his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce, and Kelce’s high-profile relationship with global pop icon Taylor Swift.

“Meeting Taylor and seeing how genuine and down-to-earth she is has been really special for me,” Mahomes shared. “As you mentioned, she’s arguably the most famous person in the world. The fact that someone like Trav—who’s such a good guy—is in a relationship with someone like her, it just shows that it’s real and authentic.”

Mahomes went on to highlight Swift’s growing enthusiasm for the sport:
“She’s taken a real interest in football. She asks thoughtful questions and is genuinely engaged. She’s even started sketching out plays—so who knows, we might have to incorporate one of them,” he joked.
