Engagement rumors continue to swirl around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, when will he propose?
The couple is expected to take the next step in their relationship before this summer
Love is in the air, and rumors are swirling that pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are gearing up for an engagement this summer
The speculation suggests that the couple intentionally postponed any proposals during the winter holidays to avoid the appearance of a rushed commitment.
An insider revealed, “Taylor and Travis discussed it, and there is a plan.”
While skipping the traditional one-knee Valentine’s Day proposal, the buzz indicates a potential engagement on their one-year anniversary in July.
Swift, 34, and Kelce, 34, made their first public appearance in September, but Swift later disclosed in a Time magazine interview that their relationship began earlier.
The couple connected after Kelce shared his unsuccessful attempt to give Swift his phone number on his podcast in July.
Swift said, “We started hanging out right after that, so we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”
Addressing public scrutiny, Swift explained, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.”
It was exclusively reported in December that Kelce sought permission from Swift’s father for her hand in marriage.
A close source mentioned, “Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.”
