Travis Kelce’s special gift wowed a young Taylor Swift fan | The Kansas City Star
There was an announced crowd of 62,441 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday for the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Raiders.
A big portion of the spectators were wearing red and cheering on the Chiefs, and that included one family from the United Kingdom. They were at their first Chiefs game, and tight end Travis Kelce made their day.
After the game, Kelce gave one of his gloves to a young girl, who apparently is also a big Taylor Swift fan. It was a simple gesture but it made a big impact on the girl.

The post included video of the moment and you can see how excited she was (and so was her father).
There also is a picture of the girl wearing a No. 9 jersey that was receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster’s number a year ago. Another photo showed the girl with a wax figure of Taylor Swift at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
Kelce and his brother, Jason, talked about the moment Wednesday on their “New Heights” podcast.
“I had no idea she was a Swifty,” Kelce said. “I might have, you know, assumed that she was a Swifty.”
Kelce explained why he made a point of giving the girl his glove.
“It was cool. You know after the game I always try and give a souvenir to a little one, and those two little ones, the young boy next to her, were just screaming their tails off trying to get my attention,” Kelce said. “That’s always like one of the gratifying things after a win is being able to celebrate it with the fans and the kids and everything.”
Jason said: “Way to go Trav. That’s what it’s all about.”
Travis agreed, saying: “That’s what it’s all about, baby.”
