United States tennis star Coco Gauff said she has big plans for the upcoming Paris Olympics.
The defending champion of the 2023 Cincinnati Open, Gauff is preparing for the first Grand Slam event of the year, but she recently told NBC Sports that she still has her eye on the summer.
The 19-year-old Gauff said that she keeps a yearly list of goals on her phone, and this year, she wants to medal in any event.
The Olympics competition at Roland Garros, where Gauff was runner-up in singles and doubles at the 2022 French Open.
Gauff is ranked No. 4 in the world and first among Americans after winning her first Grand Slam singles title at the US Open last September.
Last August, Gauff became the first teenager to win the Cincinnati Open, previously known as the Western & Southern Open, since 17-year-old Linda Tuero’s victory in 1968.
