Breaking News: First $100 Bills Bearing Trump and Bessent Signatures Set for June Release click the link below
The United States is set to introduce a new series of $100 bills featuring the signatures of President Donald Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, with initial printing scheduled for June.
This marks a notable update to the nation’s highest-denomination currency currently in general circulation, reflecting the transition in leadership within the federal government.
Currency redesigns and signature updates are a routine part of U.S. monetary policy, typically occurring when a new Treasury Secretary assumes office.
The inclusion of the President’s and Treasury Secretary’s signatures on paper currency serves both as a symbol of governmental authority and as a practical marker distinguishing different series of banknotes over time.
While the visual design of the $100 bill is not expected to undergo major changes immediately, the updated signatures will signal the beginning of a new production cycle.
Additional denominations are also expected to follow with the same signature updates in subsequent print runs.
Officials have indicated that the rollout will be gradual, with newly printed notes entering circulation alongside existing currency. Older bills will remain legal tender and continue to be used in everyday transactions without interruption.
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, responsible for producing U.S. currency, will oversee the printing process, ensuring that the new notes meet strict security and anti-counterfeiting standards.
The $100 bill, already one of the most secure banknotes in the world, features advanced elements such as a 3D security ribbon, color-shifting ink, and a watermark portrait.
As with previous updates, the introduction of the new series is not expected to disrupt financial systems or require any action from the public.
Instead, it represents a routine yet symbolic change in the ongoing evolution of U.S. currency.
