Just In : Democrats Blow $70 Million for a Pathetic 3-Point Win in Virginia – Trump’s Team Declares Victory

Democrats just burned through $60 to $70 million to scrape out a razor-thin 51.5 to 48.5 percent victory in Virginia’s redistricting referendum. After massively outspending Republican groups, that’s all they could manage in a state they dominated by double digits just last year.

Trump political director James Blair shredded the liberal spin live on CNN’s Inside Politics and turned the whole narrative on its head. While the chyron cheered the Democratic “win” and bragged that Trump’s super PAC MAGA Inc. spent zero dollars, Blair fired back without missing a beat.

“This is a state that in 2025 went 15 points for the Democrat for governor and about 8 to 13 points for the Democrat for attorney general,” Blair said. “Last night this was a three-point race. That’s actually a three-point overperformance relative to where President Trump was in Virginia in 2024.”

He kept the pressure on: “If Republicans perform anywhere near the average the way they did in Virginia last night, we not only add seats to the Senate but we add seats to the House — historic midterm gains.”

Blair hammered home the waste: “Look, these are no slam-dunk districts for them. They unloaded a lot of cash — $60 to $70 million — and they’re going to have to fight for them in November.”

And he dropped the legal hammer Democrats are dreading: “And by the way, they still have to get past the courts on this. This is illegal what they did under their own state law. If the Virginia Supreme Court does the right thing, this was an illegal action for this cycle.”

While Democrats blew their war chest on a squeaker, Trump’s team conserved every dollar and proved Republican turnout is surging. The left just handed Republicans a roadmap to massive 2026 gains. Momentum is real, and the panic on the other side is even realer.
