Patrick Mahomes Shares Thoughts on Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, and Their Growing Relationship
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently opened up about his teammate, tight end Travis Kelce, and Kelce’s high-profile relationship with global pop icon Taylor Swift.
“Meeting Taylor and seeing how genuine and down-to-earth she is has been really special for me,” Mahomes shared. “As you mentioned, she’s arguably the most famous person in the world. The fact that someone like Trav—who’s such a good guy—is in a relationship with someone like her, it just shows that it’s real and authentic.”
Mahomes went on to highlight Swift’s growing enthusiasm for the sport:
“She’s taken a real interest in football. She asks thoughtful questions and is genuinely engaged. She’s even started sketching out plays—so who knows, we might have to incorporate one of them,” he joked.
Reflecting on the broader impact Swift’s presence has had on the NFL audience, Mahomes added:
“It’s been great to see more women and girls getting into the game. As a girl dad myself, it’s really meaningful to see young daughters excited to watch football with their fathers. That kind of connection is something truly special.”
