JUSTIN:Trump Accuses Iran of Violating Hormuz Deal as Oil Flow Disruptions Persist.

U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized Iran, accusing Tehran of failing to uphold its commitments under a fragile ceasefire agreement centered on the reopening of the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

In a strongly worded statement, Trump said Iran was doing a “very poor job” of allowing oil shipments to pass through the waterway, adding that such actions were “dishonorable” and not in line with the terms both sides had agreed upon.

His remarks reflect growing frustration within Washington over continued disruptions to global energy flows.

The Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical النفط transit routes, typically carries a significant portion of global oil supply.

However, despite the ceasefire agreement intended to restore normal shipping activity, traffic through the strait has remained severely limited, with only a fraction of the usual number of vessels able to pass.

Reports indicate that Iran has restricted the number of ships allowed through the waterway and warned vessels to comply with its directives or risk confrontation.

This has fueled concerns among international shipping companies and energy markets, where uncertainty continues to drive volatility.

Trump’s comments also come amid allegations that Iran may be considering or implementing fees for ships transiting the strait—an idea the U.S. has firmly rejected.

The dispute has added further strain to an already fragile truce that was meant to ease tensions following weeks of conflict.

Analysts warn that the disagreement over shipping access could jeopardize ongoing diplomatic efforts, as both sides appear to interpret the ceasefire terms differently.

With global oil supplies at stake and hundreds of vessels affected, the situation remains highly sensitive.

As negotiations continue, the focus now shifts to whether Iran will fully reopen the strait without conditions—or whether the escalating rhetoric signals a potential breakdown of the ceasefire agreement.
